If you are a teacher planning a visit by your class please come and see for yourself how we can enhance your pupils' curricular studies. If you let us know that you are coming to assess the WMRHC for a potential visit we will ensure that one of our educational visits managers is available to discuss your requirements and advise you on best use of our facilities. To help you with the paper work we have drawn up a Risk Assessment for the site. |
One of the worries involved in planning a school visit is what to do if it rains. At WMRHC most of the areas of interest are indoors and we have plenty of indoor space for eating packed lunches. We also have two toilets on site which eliminate another area of concern. We can park a large bus on site with no dificulty, and the whole site is fenced so your charges are unlikely to wander off. We make no charge for teachers or other adult helpers who chaperone school groups and our charge of 40p per pupil is modest.
